Hi! My name is Mert, and I’m the founder of fruitful apps, where I create simple, useful apps for Apple platforms.

Who am I? 😇

I’ve been a developer since 2016. I started with Ruby on Rails for backend development, moved into React (TypeScript), and later focused on mobile apps using React Native. I’ve worked at companies like XING, a professional network in the DACH region, and Shopify, where I built features used by millions.

Why did I create fruitful apps? 🧐

I noticed that many companies focus more on their business goals than on what users truly need. Users often request features, but these can get overlooked. As a developer, I often built tools I wouldn’t use myself, which made it harder to understand the user’s perspective. I wanted to change that by focusing entirely on solving real user problems.

How do I develop apps? 🧑🏻‍💻

I work solo and focus on Apple platforms because they make app distribution and payments straightforward, giving me more time to improve the user experience. Every app I’ve created so far comes from solving problems I’ve faced personally, and I use them every day.

After releasing an app, I listen closely to feedback and update it based on what users need. Protecting privacy is a key priority—none of my apps collect data. Instead, I rely on direct user feedback to guide improvements.
